Deadlines for ticket sales, Floorplan WME 2022 and hotelrooms at the venue.

Ticket deadlines:

We would like to inform you that certain tickets that are on sale now have a deadline for ordering.

  • All admission tickets can be purchased even at the weekend of the show, but…
  • VIP tickets are available in limited numbers and when they are gone, they’re gone.
  • Workshop tickets are for sale until June 15th, and then you cannot book a seat at a workshop anymore.
  • Merchandise presales stops June 6th. After that you can only buy the official WME apperel at the show, while stock lasts.
  • BBQ tickets are only available until June 19th. At the show it is not possible to purchase BBQ tickets.

CONTEST REGISTRATION

And finally, the contest pre-registration closes on June 19th 22:00 (that’s 10 PM) CET. Until then you can change your entries in the account you made and pay the reduced contest fee of € 22,50 online. You can find our contest app EMPEROR here.

After that deadline, you can no longer change your entries by yourself or pay the fee online. Your entries will remain valid if you haven’t paid, but you’ll have to pay at the show and the full amount of € 35. Only our staff can make changes for you in your entries at the show . Also if you add any pieces to your entries, and have already paid the reduced pre-registration fee, we will do this , but please note that this requires changes in the paperwork, which takes time. And notice that you will be required to pay the additional € 12,50.

FYI: in case you have to leave one or two pieces that you registered at home, it’s not a huge issue. It simply won’t be on the contest tables, therefore cannot be judged. Reason we mention this is, is that we suggest you enter all the pieces you intend to bring before June 19th, even if you’re still working on it. If you can’t finish it on time, well, no harm done. After all, you don’t pay per piece but a fixed entry fee. Adding pieces at the show is a different story, as these need to be recorded, which is more time consuming and causes longer qeues.

Room reservations are open now!

It is now possible to book your room at the NH Eindhoven Conference Centre Koningshof hotel, you know, the same place where we organize the World model Expo. Be quick to book your room as we expect them to go fast.

How to book a room at the venue NH hotel?

We had planned to open the hotel reservations, using the dedicated NH event tool from 1st July onwards. However, due to various circumstances this has been postponed a bit.

We plan to open the hotel reservations tool of NH roughly around late August 2020 now.

The new management of the hotel has implemented some new terms for reservations made at the NH Eindhoven Conference Centre Koningshof.

The most important terms for you to consider is that you can only book the rooms using a credit card and that the hotel with actually will be crediting the due amount starting early April 2021, 3 months before the actual event.

This term of payment before your arrival was implemented by the hotel management to avoid a scenario where people book one year ahead and cancel last minute leaving the hotel with empty rooms that are impossible to fill less than a week before the event. Unfortunately this has happened frequently over the years leaving empty rooms where otherwise people that are really eager to stay close to the event could have stayed.

Because there will be several large events in Eindhoven early July next year, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you look for a hotelroom in Eindhoven or in the vicinity of the event right now, and make a reservation without obligatory payment. (You can use the list of alternative places to stay on this page (PDF) as a guideline, but there are more options of course).
This way you will be assured of a place to stay during the World Model Expo, and in case you will be able to book a room at the NH hotel as soon as these become available, you can cancel your previous reservation elsewhere without any problem or additional charges.

How to book a room at the venue NH hotel?

We had planned to open the hotel reservations, using the dedicated NH event tool from 1st July onwards.

However, the new hotel management said it will only open the event tool, and allocate the complete hotel, all 500+ rooms, for the WME2021, if we accept that all reservations are due for payment immediately upon reservation. Or simply put: you have to pay immediately when you book your room.  You would still be able to cancel without any charges until one week prior to the event and will be refunded by NH, but we believe that this new policy is not acceptable and unfair toward visitors of the WME, and we are still negotiating with NH about this.

Most likely scenario at this moment is that room reservations will open only 4 months before the event, so March 1, 2021. 

This would mean that in case the hotel at the venue is full, you would have to find another place to stay, relatively short before the event, which might be a problem.
